To meet the challenges of data security and to proactively address complex and multi-product issues,five leading IT vendors (Cisco,IBM,Intel,Juniper Networks,and Microsoft) have created ‘Industry Consortium for Advancement of Security on the Internet’ (ICASI),a non-profit organization.Build around the four guiding principles of customer security,agility and effectiveness,collaboration and trust,leadership and innovation.

ICASI will provide a forum to global companies commited to proactively address complex,multi-product security threats and better protect enterprises,governments and citizens as well as critical IT infrastructure that supports them.

Organization’s commitment to advanced Internet Security includes changing how vendors work together on multi-product security fixes.As per a statement issued by Intel,developing and sharing innovations for preventing and mitigating security challenges is also a core focus for ICASI members.
